A distinguished guest artist joins the Spartanburg Philharmonic for this Masterworks series concert. Violinist Michael Ludwig teams with the orchestra for Brahms’ beloved concerto to cap off the program. Before that the ensemble plays Brahms’ second symphonic effort, and premieres a work by Swedish composer Andrea Tarrodi that combines the classical with the contemporary.
